Integration/Fusion in Dissociative Identity Disorder [CC]
Often used interchangeably, but also with slightly different meanings. Integration is to bring parts closer together by lowering the dissociative barriers. It is also used as a description to "merge" alters together. In more modern journals, the word for this is "fusion" between some or several parts or "final fusion" for all parts to become one whole.
