Knife crime debate: can we solve the epidemic of violence on Britain's streets?

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has said that it could take at least 10 years to solve the capital's knife crime problem as hundreds of extra police officers are now being regularly deployed on its streets. Omar Sharif, a former gang member, knows the reality of knife crime all too well having lost three close friends in recent years. However, the ex-gang member has now won a pride of Britain award for his efforts to combat the crisis. Karim Brohi works on the frontline of trying to save young people's lives.
