80 Year Old Sailor vs 30 Knot Winds in Poole Harbour

I sail single handed in Zephyr IV to Newtown Creek and the following day to Poole. Strong winds in Poole harbour make anchoring uncomfortable, but bring out the high speed Foiling Wind Surfers. Watch as they entertain and amaze with high speed passes of Zephyr IV in 30 knots of wind. Sailing single handed presents its own challengers, especially when trying to find shelter from force 7 winds in shallow water. Lack of sleep during stormy nights forces a change of plan and I resort to a couple of nights in the shelter of Poole Quay Boat Haven.
