LIRR AM Rush at Queens Village. Lots of trains and helicopters and position light signals. 9/26/25
We observe some heavy duty rail action at a busy spot on the LIRR. This is Queens Village on the main line. This particular morning, we observe much of the a.m. rush-hour with an endless barrage of trains and helicopters flying to and from the Ryder Cup at Bethpage State Park. The morning twilight this day was spectacular. We see a variety of railroad equipment whizzing past at speeds up to 80 mph.
