Mae has 3-range at base, and we train her to do certain jobs, and we want her to reach 22 Attack on enemy phase for the Seabound Shrine since nobody else can reach this threshold outside of Genny, who can't crit. 0:30 - Novis Cemetery(3 turns) The Mae show. We feed some EXP to Genny as well. 2:07 - Novis Greatport We recruit Saber. Saber is an important flunky on 2 maps because of his ability to double brigands, and decent attack to actually kill them at base. 2:19 - Brigand Boat(2 turns) We grab our first Angel ring for Celica's route. As of act 2, we are allowed 4 item drops, though we used 2 of them in act 1. We will opt to get 2 Angel rings. Saber has to cover the 2 left brigands since nobody else actually kills them. 3:41 - Leather Shield Boat(2 turns) I said Nosferatu can't crit, but that's not entirely true - it can crit Mercenary-lines and gargoyles. Genny goes wild here. I was having issues rigging an Angel ring drop when Mae leveled up, but I didn't investigate if it was impossible or if it needed different setups. 5:30 - Pirate Throne Battle(3 turns) We need a mage with Thunder to kill the boss from 3-range, which will be Mae. Genny will massacre most of the remaining brigands. 7:43 - Pirate Throne Leon will be a star unit as a bow user. Unfortunately, at base he's a little weak, so his initial growth will be a little slow, but eventually he will be the unit getting Warped into enemy strongholds on this route. 8:02 - Cantor Boat(3 turns) Boss has to be killed from 3-range with a crit, and Leon can't pull enough hit for this, so Mae must step in again. 9:36 - Merc Boat(2 turns) Celica's finest moment. She has a uniquely good starting spot, which is needed to enemy phase the first archer, and reach the second archer on turn 2. We give her as little EXP as we can get away with since she stops mattering after this map, and will feed the mercenaries to Genny. 11:14 - Arc Boat(2 turns) The boss lacks 3-range so we can't simply 1-turn it like in SoV. We have to divert a couple of kills to Mae to let her reach the benchmark for Beast Hunt. 12:56 - Beast Hunt(2 turns) We need 22 Attack to kill the necrodragon with a hit + crit. We can't postpone this map to act 3 to 1-turn it in this category because encounters are not preserved across acts, and Expel does not work on this solo enemy. 13:22 - Seabound Shrine Battle 1(1 turn) The dungeon fights let us finish training Genny. 14:36 - Seabound Shrine Leon promotes to Sniper to let him start working towards Bow Knight, though it'll be a long time before he can actually promote again. 14:58 - Seabound Shrine Battle 2(1 turn) Genny finishes training. 16:14 - End of Act 2 Genny is promoted to Saint because why not. Restricting her from growing bulk could maybe have allowed eventually sending her to Alm's route for the lategame, but it's not strictly necessary.
