Southie Original Legends and Young Turks Remembered
As Communities go living in South Nitshill (Southie) on the south side of Glasgow was pretty special. It wasn't that it was any different from all the other parts of Glasgow's peripheral estates. It was just a great place on the edge of the sprawling city with the countryside on the doorstep. But it was much more than that because of the people. This is a small tribute to just some of those Southie Original Legends and Young Turks.
