Therapeutic Art Activity to Turn Fear into Excitement

Every time I press ‘publish’ on my Youtube video I feel fear… My heart starts racing. My palms get sweaty and I think, are people going to think I’m stupid? Am I going to embarrass myself? This happens every single time. After discovering about the concept that fear is actually the same as excitement, I’ve learned to reframe my mindset and say to myself, I am excited to share my love of Art Therapy! I am excited for people to know how how healing art can be! My palms still get sweaty, my heart still races but I am able to label it as excitement and shift the feeling in my mind. In this video, I share a simple 3-step Therapeutic Art process where you will guided to feel your fear, anchor it with a positive thought and shift it into excitement through the creative process.
