I Painted a Circle to Heal My Past | Carl Jung Art Therapy for Self-Discovery
There was a time I felt like I’d lost touch with myself — buried under responsibilities, emotions, and endless doing. One quiet afternoon, I sat down with my paints and drew a simple circle… and what unfolded became one of the most healing moments of my life. This circle was inspired by the teachings of Carl Jung, who believed that art, dreams, and imagination connect us to our unconscious mind — the deeper part of who we truly are. He spoke of four personalities within us: 🔴 Thinking — the logical and structured self 💚 Sensation — the grounded, body-aware self 💜 Feeling — the emotional and compassionate self 🔵 Intuition — the dreamer that trusts the unseen In the center, I painted gold — the Self — a light that holds all of me together. As I painted, something softened inside me. I remembered the woman I used to be — the one who felt joy without reason, who painted for the sheer love of color, who once ran barefoot in the grass. This video is a gentle invitation for you to do the same: 🌿 reconnect with your feminine energy 🌿 let your inner child breathe again 🌿 find your calm through color Ask yourself: When was the last time I felt free? Which color speaks to me today? 🎨 Paint your own circle and let it guide you home.
