Our Bhutan adventure continues from the beautiful Gasa District as we ride towards the capital, Thimphu. We start our morning from the homestay with breathtaking Himalayan views, saying goodbye to the amazing host who gave us such warm hospitality. But the real challenge begins on the road… After a night of rain, the trail turns muddy and slippery, making the ride more intense and unpredictable. We push through rough patches and ride over 80+ km towards Punakha, where we stop for lunch before continuing the journey. Next stop — the iconic Dochula Pass, one of the highest and most scenic passes between Punakha and Thimphu. Fog, cold winds, and epic views make this stretch unforgettable. Reaching Thimphu, we part ways with fellow riders from Paro and later meet another rider friend. The night takes us to Handlebar Café — a true biker hub filled with machines, stories, and brotherhood.
