LIFE AS A FILIPINA BUILDING A HOME IN RURAL CHINA. A Filipino Dish for Construction Chinese Workers

In rural parts of northern China, most families build sturdy reinforced concrete frame homes, the same construction style shown in the footage. Builders first set up dense steel scaffolding around the structure and fasten wooden formwork panels to create molds for walls, with steel reinforcement bars placed inside to strengthen the concrete that will be poured later. Core raw materials for the main structure include steel rebar, cement, sand, gravel, and timber for the temporary formwork. Once the solid concrete frame and walls harden, workers fill in partition spaces with affordable red clay bricks or lightweight aerated blocks. For finishing work, they use cement plaster to smooth outer and inner surfaces, install aluminum alloy window frames and glass, and top the roof with either concrete slabs or ceramic roof tiles. Stones and extra concrete are also used underground to lay a solid, stable foundation that can stand up to local weather conditions. Hello everyone.
