Gore Mountain – A Snowsports Pioneer
Gore Mountain, New York's largest ski area, has been a pioneer in the ski industry since the inaugural Snow Train came through in 1934. As the birthplace of Ski Patrol and home to New York State's first gondola, Gore continues to sustainably upgrade its facilities with modern lifts combined with state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming equipment keeping the mountain at the forefront of the snowsports industry.
