Skiing All Olympic Runs of Whiteface, Lake Placid from 1980

Visiting Whiteface, NY for the second time. Just for fun, I want to check out the ski courses from 1980 Olympics. It proved to be more challenging than I expected. First I went for the Slalom run, the official records state the average gradient for the Olympic trail was just over 38% (which would be Blue Trail in the US). The run is otherwise measured as 26°. And towards the second half you could feel the gravity of the situation :). Then I moved to the Downhill and last to Giant Slalom. It was a fun day, with great weather. Will need to come back.
