Housing, Medical Treatment, Documents: Presentation of a Study on the Needs of Civilians After Russian Captivity On June 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM, join the presentation of the study "After Captivity: What Released Civilians Face." The study was prepared by the Civis Fortis Civil Society Defense Foundation in cooperation with the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation. It is based on interviews and focus groups with released civilians who survived unlawful imprisonment, as well as with experts working in the field of protecting the rights of victims of Russian aggression. Finding housing, receiving medical treatment, restoring documents, and more — all of this awaits civilian Ukrainians after their release from Russian captivity. How do former civilian captives navigate this journey? Is there comprehensive state support for people after captivity? What changes need to be made in the areas of medical, social, and legal assistance?
