I visited Fort Caroline National Memorial, in the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, Florida in October of 2022. Fort King Caroline is a reconstruction of an 1564 French Fort. At this site they have reconstructions of the fort, a Timucuan Indian house, and the visitor center. Fort Caroline is located near Jacksonville, Florida.
