Visiting Fort King George, Georgia State Historic Site

I visited Fort King George, Georgia State Historic Site in October of 2022. Fort King George is a reconstruction of an 1721 English Fort. At this state historic site they have reconstructions of the fort, a Guale (pronounced WAH-lee) Indian house, and a Highlander Cottage. They also have a soldiers cemetery and the ruins of a Spanish Mission from the late 1500s. Fort King George, State Historic Site is located near Darian, Georgia.
