What Do Pink Hops Taste Like? SMaSH Beer Experiment - Brew Dudes

This week, we try out experimental hops ID-158, AKA Pink hops, in our SMASH beer series. This hop had strong pithy bitterness and a pithy aroma. The flavor was a bit of fruit specifically red berry and possible cherry in nature. The flavor profile was fairly unique but it was somewhat non-descript and hard to nail down to a specific flavor profile. Overall, this hop would probably work OK as a filler hop with other hops that had more of the notes you might be trying to work into the brew, such as berry, vanilla or light pithy bitterness.
