DAY 39: a BAD day in Eardley Canyon | Zion to Green River Hike VLOG
Day 39 of my backpacking journey from Zion National Park to Green River, Utah. Technically this is Day 2 of the continuation of the trip which I stopped just short in June along the northern end of the San Rafael Reef. On this October day I made my way up Eardley Canyon where I quickly realized that the recent floods ensured I was in for more of an adventure than anticipated. The canyon was full of opaque water and super-slick mud; much more than one would normally find in this canyon. Tough hiking conditions and a series of mistakes made for a really BAD day. But... the bad makes us better appreciate the good, right? I think so! I hope you enjoy this vlog-style experiment with daily videos to re-live my big hike(s) from 2022. Some days will be short, some will be long -- but each will represent one day of hiking and hopefully include something new and fun to watch! Thanks for watching!
