Meadow Creek, Mineral Gulch, and The Barracks (near Zion)

Part 1 of my three-day backpacking trip through The Barracks near Zion National Park. Hiking with my long-time friends, we descended Meadow Creek before getting to the amazing narrows and slot canyon of Mineral Gulch. An unexpected obstacle slowed our progress, but before long we were to the East Virgin River and hiking into The Barracks. It's a tedious hike at times, but we enjoyed the many sights along the way including some great side canyons and rock art.
