In this traditional archery tips video, I discuss why back tension, shoulder and elbow alignment are so important to proper archery form. If you are not completely satisfied with your archery accuracy, it may be that your archery form is less than stellar. These traditional bow shooting tips can go a long way in improving accuracy. When first leaning how to shoot a bow, especially a longbow or recurve, we can often forget that to become a great shot we need to build a solid foundation in our archery technique. I also discuss how to make and use a DIY form master to determine whether you're using your back muscles properly to draw your bow. We also use it to determine if we're achieving proper back tension.
