Visiting the childhood home of Cristiano Ronaldo!🏠🐐 I wandered into the streets of Quinta Falcão to find where it all began. I met a friendly local who actually knew Cristiano as a baby he walked me to the spot where Ronaldo’s childhood home once stood. It was surreal.This wasn’t a luxury neighborhood it was a humble, working-class area of Funchal where his parents worked multiple jobs just to keep the lights on. Ronaldo shared a single room with three siblings in a house that was eventually torn down for being unsafe. right next to the ruins is the ‘cage’ where he played every single day. They’ve restored it now a gift back to the community that raised him. Seeing the distance between this small, pitch and the 5 Ballon d’Ors I saw yesterday was incredible.
