Today we're leaving Joliet and heading south through Illinois as Hot Rod Power Tour continues toward Rantoul. Along the way, we cruise historic Route 66, visit legendary roadside attractions, stop at iconic diners, and meet some incredible people who prove that the automotive hobby is about far more than just vehicles. One of those people is David, a Ford enthusiast from Australia who flew halfway around the world, bought a classic Ford truck sight unseen, and is now living out his dream of driving Route 66 across America. Of course, no road trip is complete without a little roadside wrenching. Brownie starts acting up, we make repairs on the side of the road, and keep pushing west just like every good road trip should.
