Wiring a Model Railroad Layout, Electricians POV 1 of 2
As a 19+ year certified electrician, I offer opinionated advise on how to wire your train layout so it can run effectively and efficiently. I have seen a small handful of videos where people have wired up their layouts and noticed a common trend where simplicity is an easy way out to connect wires. Simplicity is not always the answer and can lead to potential electrical interruption. My troubleshooting experience will show you why I have found these simple quick connectors may not be the option to use and spending a little more time on splicing your wires will result in the longevity use of a successful running railroad layout.
