I Developed Film With Coffee... It Went Wrong

For years, I've wanted to learn how to develop my own black and white film. Instead of using traditional chemicals, I decided to try one of the strangest methods out there—Caffenol, a film developer made from coffee, vitamin C, and washing soda. It didn't exactly go to plan. Some of the negatives came out beautifully, while others were completely lost. In this video, I take you through my very first experience developing 35mm film at home, the mistakes I made, what I learned, and whether I'd trust coffee to develop my film again. If you've ever been curious about analog photography, home developing, or Caffenol, I hope this gives you the confidence to give it a try—even if your first roll isn't perfect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Gear: KnF ND Polarizer: https://amzn.to/48AByMp My Bag: https://amzn.to/3vg8JGO Canon F4 17-40 L: https://amzn.to/3u2SbBk Canon R: https://amzn.to/3sdirZn EF-RF Adapter: https://amzn.to/3sOzFwm Canon M5: https://amzn.to/3u3WAnG CANON F 2.8 70-200 L: https://amzn.to/3StDwJN Canon 50mm 1.8: https://amzn.to/3sl9ltA Tripod: https://amzn.to/45X4T1H Follow Me On Instagram! @now_and_nowhere_traveller Vero @jeffreysproule
