Trains at Tamworth (6th September 2024)

It’s Friday, the 6th of September, and I’m at Tamworth. For some context, the high-level platforms would be opened by the Birmingham & Derby Junction Railway in 1839, with the low-level platforms being opened in 1847 by the London & North Western Railway. The station is currently served by London Northwestern Railway, Cross Country, and Avanti West Coast. With London Northwestern Railway stopping services from London Euston to Crewe serving the low level platforms and select Avanti West Coast services serving the station in the evening with Cross Country services using the high level platforms.
