Humphrey Head is a spectacular limestone ridge, extending out into Morecambe Bay. There's even a precarious natural arch - which we film here, without recourse to a health and safety risk assessment. Dropping off the ridge, we consider the difficult truths around certain attitudes of our heroes - in this case, the mighty Alfred Wainwright, who included Humphrey Head in his 'Outlying fells' guidebook to walks around the Lake District. And then it's a low level walk to locate the Holy Well at the foot of the cliffs to see if its restorative powers will cure a godless soul in the 21st Century.
