Hill of Skulls

An investigation of the third and final Megalithic complex, in this trilogy of Cumbrian Neolithic Adventures. Shap Stone Avenue (Shap Stone Row) dates back to between 3,000 to 2,000 BC. It has been largely removed from the landscape, but there are still some tantalizing traces. Starting at the stone circle of Kemp Howe, we then jump back into the Time Tunnel to visit the site of Carl's Loft - a long destroyed second circle. Then, we head up the avenue to locate some of the remaining fragments, before arriving at the Hill of Skulls - a likely terminus of the structure. We've been unable to shake off our unpleasant pursuers in the Time Tunnel, but things come to a head at the Hill of Skulls, bringing this uncompromising mix of history and hard Sci-Fi to a satisfactory conclusion.
