Somebody Called the COPS on our Cressida! (4K)

There’s something about planning a trip to Vancouver Island that always puts us in a good mood. Maybe it’s the change of pace, the slightly different scenery, or the idea of just getting away for a day or two, but it’s probably just the promise of visiting our friends that we only get to see in person a few times every year.  By sheer coincidence, we found ourselves embarking on this adventure on the exact same weekend as last year, when we filmed the "Dream Property for Car Enthusiasts" video at Ben's house near the ferry terminal. Once again, this remarkable property would serve as the epicentre of our day. Bright and early, we loaded up our freshly slammed Cressida (which we figured Adam and Ben would love) and Jake's JZX90 (which we figured would enrage Adam at the mere sight of its large wheels) and raced to catch the ferry. Upon reaching the island, we wasted no time in visiting Ben and showcasing our Cressida with his Cressida, eager to see what he had in store. While awaiting the arrival of more friends, we parked our Cressida in Ben's workshop, where we dove headfirst into test-fitting some seriously cool wheels he had lying around. This was a golden opportunity to start shaping the vision for our dream wheel setup and to get a better understanding of how different specs of wheels would fit the car. After an exhilarating session on the zip line, wheel-test-fitting, and chatting with friends, we decided to take our two Cressidas for a brisk autumn drive. The idea was to capture a quick cinematic featuring our cars framed by the enchanting backdrop of fall foliage. It was all fun and games until our presence was mistakenly reported as "gang activity," leading to the unexpected arrival of a squad car. Luckily, the officer was a good sport, shared a laugh with us, and even subscribed to our YouTube channel. (P.S. MOUNTAIN DRIFTING III WAS ON A CLOSED COURSE, OKAY?) Following a pit stop for some pizza, we headed to a nearby beachfront parking lot, spontaneously transforming it into a miniature car meet. We had a blast reconnecting with even more friends before our journey back home.  We thought the video was wrapped up when we arrived at the ferry terminal, killed the final camera battery and filled the memory card, but when Sandra drove the Cressida onto the ferry and exploded the exhaust system right in the middle of the car the iPhones quickly came out.  In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, on the moving ferry deck, we pulled out our scissor jack and promptly removed the entire exhaust system, which found its new home in a nearby trash bin on the sailing deck.
