Insect bioconversion: Closing the loop on winery waste
Using insects to convert organic waste into frass (manure) has become a novel technology. A project delivered by Mobius Farms in collaboration with Schutz Barossa, uses grape marc as a feedstock to explore the effects of using insect manure on vineyard soil and plant health. This webinar will outline the objectives of the trial, key findings and the potential future of insect frass in vineyard applications to improve vineyard health, sustainability and resilience.
