Noel Nannup - Point Walter
Dr Noel Nannup, Aboriginal Elder-in-Residence at Edith Cowan University's Mt Lawley campus, was the subject of a collaborative portrait made by internationally renowned Nomad Two Worlds photographer Russell James and West Australian Nyoongar artist Dr Richard Walley for ECU's art collection as part of the 2016 NAIDOC celebrations. West Australian filmmakers Patrizia Tonello and Graham Taylor (Abandoned Suitcase) recorded Dr Nannup during Russell's photoshoot while he explained why Point Walter, WA was his favourite place. Please be advised this film may contain culturally sensitive material to members of the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island community.
