Abducted in Tunisia? Travel Safety Lessons for Black Women A young Black woman from Montgomery County, Maryland — named Meka — says she was drugged and abducted while traveling in Tunisia. She first shared her story on TikTok, and it has since been reported by Maryland and national media. In this video, I share what happened to her, why I believe her, and how this connects to my own travel experiences in Tunisia, Egypt, and Istanbul.
