Vande Meenakshi Nottuswaras Series 11

This is a Nottuswara composed by Shri Muttuswamy Dikshitar, one of the legends of Carnatic Music. The song is based on Goddess Meenakshi (Minakshi), who is a form of Goddess Parvati. The tune of the song was inspired by an Irish composition 'Rakes of Mallow' composed by a legendary Irish music composer, Leroy Anderson.
