Succès pour Comores Expo 2025 : une diaspora dynamique dans l’entreprenariat

Comoros Expo 2025: A Dynamic and Enterprising Diaspora From April 11th to 12th, Bagneux (Paris region) hosted the very first edition of Comoros Expo, a unique trade show that brought together entrepreneurs, decision-makers, experts, and project leaders around a shared ambition: to envision the future of the Comoros through entrepreneurship, innovation, and culture. Over the course of two days, the event was marked by a large attendance and an enthusiastic atmosphere. High-quality panels, engaging discussions, and inspiring testimonials all combined to make this first edition a resounding success. Among the highlights, the remarkable speech by Mohamed Bajrafil, Ambassador of the Comoros to UNESCO, particularly attracted attention. In a vibrant speech, he emphasized the importance of promoting Comorian culture while integrating it into modernity and contemporary issues. Another highlight was the testimony of influencer and entrepreneur Honey Shay, who came to share her journey since launching her perfume and cosmetics brand. Her speech resonated with a young and ambitious audience. The presence of Nadjati Soidiki, Director of the National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI), accompanied by her team, also gave an institutional dimension to the event. She took the opportunity to meet with the diaspora and offer concrete support to those wishing to invest in the Comoros. In the audience, notable figures such as Said Larifou, leader of the Ridja party, welcomed the initiative. "This kind of event fills me with optimism about the potential and future of the Comoros," he said. For Msa Ali Djamal, who represented the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the "diaspora project" in partnership with Expertise France, Comores Expo demonstrates that when Comorians are united around a common cause, they can move mountains. The numerous booths set up throughout the show reflected the remarkable dynamism of Franco-Comorians in entrepreneurship. Whether in crafts, travel agencies, catering, or personal services, Comorians are now investing in all sectors of activity, strongly affirming their role in the French economy as well as in the development of their country of origin. The dense and relevant program offered a series of bold panel discussions. Led by dedicated moderators such as Maroita Hadji and Maher Antoy, discussions focused on crucial topics: female entrepreneurship, returning to Africa, sports, finance, digital technology, and more. These are all essential topics for shaping tomorrow's economic and social dynamics. Comores Expo laid the foundations for a meeting that already promises to be a must-attend event. The Comorian diaspora found a space for expression, meetings, and future collaboration.
