High mountains, volcanic craters, barren plains, salt lakes and hot springs. This is how we experienced the Puna in the Argentinian highlands. Behind every corner there was a new highlight. It was amazing. Our 4x4 tour started at 1,505 m above sea level. in Fiambalá. From there we drove along the Chilean border to Antofagasta de la Sierra and on to the Bolivian border to La Quiaca.
