I visited Yutaka Inari Hongu, located in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. This quiet and deeply meaningful shrine preserves a rare style of Shinto-Buddhist syncretism, a rarity in Japan. Goma prayer ceremonies are held on the 1st and the third Sunday of every month.
