On our first day in Arraial d’Ajuda, we decided to truly immerse ourselves in Bahian culture, and that meant trying the region's typical dishes! YES. We went to the famous Alecrim Dourado Restaurant to sample traditional dishes full of flavor, history, and Bahian identity. Between distinctive spices, lots of dendê oil, and recipes we had never tried before, we had several surprises during this unforgettable gastronomic experience. Did we like everything?
