Every year, the American Motorcyclists Association throws one of the best motorcycle events in North America: Vintage Motorcycle Days in Mansfield, Ohio. This event is the largest fundraiser each year for the AMA Hall of Fame, and draws upwards of 40,000 riders on all types of bikes - not just vintage rides, but literally anything you can imagine on two, three, or four wheels. This 360 degree virtual motorcycle ride carries you on the Lap for History, a fundraiser ride around the track at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course. Saddle up on a small custom pit bike and make three laps of the track, surrounded by hundreds of your closest riding buddies on a wild assortment of motorcycles. When that is done, you will exit the track and get just a small taste of the incredible vibe at Vintage Motorcycle Days. If you ever find yourself in the eastern USA in July, this event is a must-do! There are no automobiles moving on the track, no cross-traffic, and all riders are riding in the same direction. We advocate for ATGATT (all the gear, all the time) but you will notice that inside of this private venue, where people putter slowly around the sprawling property to check out the swap meet, vendors, the Wall of Death, workshops, presentations, OEM demos, and races of all sorts, they are not always fully geared up.
