Designing and Programming a Quiz App with MIT App Inventor

This EdTech Exchange session focused on designing and programming a simple quiz app using MIT App Inventor, with Mr. Kevin Ssenabulya leading the tutorial for educators. The session covered both the designer side, where components are arranged and the block-based programming side, where app functionality is coded. Mr. Kevin demonstrated how to create a multi-screen quiz app with features including user name input, welcome messages, questions with multiple choice options, scoring, and timer functionality. He explained the process of adding components like buttons, labels, text boxes, and images, along with programming the logic using blocks to handle user interactions and display results. The session included instructions for testing the app using the MIT App Inventor web interface and downloading the companion app to test on mobile devices.
