Plan steam between Eisenach and Meiningen. For many, many years, the potash and gravel fumes were an integral part of the railway enthusiasts' calendar. From October 21st to 23rd, 2021 there was another scheduled steam with the locomotives 41 1144, 44 2545 and 52 1360, where the photographers and filmmakers were able to capture the steam locomotives with the corresponding infrastructure. The Förtha train station has now also been rebuilt and no longer offers the old ambience. We used this last chance to introduce our friends to the topic of steam locomotives.
