A Japanese Park In Southern Brazil?! 🇧🇷 | Maringá 4K

Walking across the Brazilian city of Maringá to visit its famous Japanese Park turned into one of the most relaxing and unexpected walks I’ve had in Brazil. Along the way there are quiet streets, cycle paths, huge houses, a surprising mosque, industrial outskirts and finally one of the most peaceful parks I’ve visited in South America. Maringá, in the state of Paraná, has a strong Japanese-Brazilian influence and the Japanese Park reflects that history with koi ponds, bridges, streams, gardens and traditional Japanese design. This is real backpacking travel in Brazil — no plans, no tours, just walking and seeing what happens.
