I Visited One Of Brazil’s Most Random Cities 🇧🇷 | Apucarama 4K

Apucarana is a mid-sized city in the Brazilian state of Paraná that most foreign tourists have probably never even heard of. Known as Brazil’s “capital of the cap” because of its huge baseball cap manufacturing industry, Apucarana was founded during the coffee boom years after much of the Atlantic Forest in this region was cleared for farming and new settlements. In this video I explore the city centre, cathedral, parks, wartime memorials, cherry blossom influence from Japanese immigration, and everyday life in a lesser-known part of southern Brazil.
