It is best to book parking on the website before you arrive. https://www.justpark.com/uk/parking/s... There are several laybys with paid parking nearby. There are also some free laybys further out but if you are having difficulty you can get busses from the nearby villages. Buss to Pen y Pass: There are regular and reasonably priced busses to the car park from the nearby villages. Although most people will start down the miners track this leaves all the ascent to be done in one go once you pass Glaslyn. The Pyg track splits the climb into 2 parts divided by a long flattish walk and views over the lakes. The path is very stable for most of the journey and provides an enjoyable hike to the top of Wales.
