Some animals can roam across their territories for millions of years but every now and again an animal will completely disappear from an ecosystem. The reasons behind a species disappearance are often very complicated but in the modern day these reasons are almost always human related. Sometimes we are given the opportunity to mend the damages we have caused and one way to do this is through reintroductions. Species reintroduction: Species reintroduction is the deliberate release of a species into the wild, from captivity or other areas where the organism is capable of survival.
