TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The Iranian government has released footage for the first time showing the condition of the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei after being hit by a joint US-Israeli attack. The video was broadcast live by Iranian state television, IRIB, on Wednesday (July 8). The footage shows the building, which had been the center of Ali Khamenei's activities for years, now reduced to rubble. The mosque area inside the residence also appeared to have been damaged by the attack. This video release marks the first since the joint US-Israeli attack on February 28, 2026. According to a News18 report, the compound is home to Ali Khamenei, his wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh, and their four sons and two daughters. The same report also stated that Khamenei's 14-month-old granddaughter, Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani, was also killed in the attack. The footage was released as the funeral procession for Ali Khamenei entered its final days. Khamenei's body is scheduled to be buried on Thursday (July 9th) near the Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad. Before the burial in Mashhad, the funeral procession will first pass through several holy cities. The procession will take place in Qom, then continue to Najaf and Karbala in Iraq. Iranian media reported that millions of mourners will attend the procession. Numerous figures from various countries are also reported to have attended to pay their respects. The release of the video from Ali Khamenei's residence comes amidst the renewed tension between the US and Iran.
