Nike Alphafly 3 Vs Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3 | We compare two of the best carbon racers

The third version of one of the Alphafly sees a number of updates. Those include a wider carbon plate to increase stability, a new midsole design that features fully connected ZoomX foam for a smoother ride, and a revamped AtomKnit upper for better lockdown and breathability. The Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3 sees some developments over the earlier versions of the shoe. The most important is a 4mm increase in stack height, alongside some tweaking of the Nitrofoam Elite Aliphatic TPU midsole. The aim here is more energy return and a lighter design. There’s also a slightly stiffer carbon PWRPLATE to improve running efficiency and provide stability across the length of the shoe.
