The party approaches Candulhallow's Tombstones when Astarion and Jaheira banter about peeking behind the city's masks, leaving Astarion scandalised about what Jaheira thinks of him. The Party examines the door leading to the Murder Tribunal of Bhaal, passes through it and the Which Guards to see the Deadlord's Trial. Dark Urge Protagonist faces Sarevok with Jaheira in Party, daddy's least favourite son recognises "the heretic", Sarevok is disappointed in his fellow bhaalspawn's disinterest in being an aspirant to the Unholy Assassin title (Dark Urge exclusive dialogue, Jaheira exclusive interactions). Jaheira shares some of the history she has with Sarevok Anchev. Dark Urge protagonist asks if Jaheira wants to deal with Sarevok. Despite of the Protective Ward of Astarion, Dark Urge Protagonist falls unconscious as Astarion is crying "No! My sweet bloodthirsty friend!" (Dark Urge exclusive reaction) After Sarevok's defeat, Jaheira tells more about Sarevok. The Party finds Valeria, she demands to be freed from the chains at once. Valeria thanks for release, and shares how she got trapped in the Tribunal's trial chamber and what she knows about Bhaal's Temple, and expresses her hopes in history repeating itself. Jaheira asks whom Valeria calls history. Protagonist finds a letter addressed to Quil, the unfortunate dragonborn bard who'd felled to the Dark Urge in the beginning of her journey as an amnesiac. The Party discovers Sarevok was Orin's grandfather and father.
