#MasMansoer #PuraMandaraGiriSemeruAgung #BisikanLangit When the Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) of Lumajang Regency was inaugurated on February 2, 1986, with I Made Wiratha, SH, as its chairman, who was then the Head of the Lumajang District Attorney's Office, the Hindu community of Lumajang did not yet have an adequate place of worship. Prayers were held in their respective village temples, and there was no coordination among Hindus. It was under I Made Wiratha, SH, that the idea for establishing a temple was born. Initially, it was only 20 x 60 meters, but with the blessings of Sang Hyang Widi, a journey guided the Hindu community to build a temple that exceeded their expectations. Pura Mandara Giri Semeru Agung now stands on 1.5 hectares of land and has become the archipelago's primary place of worship on the slopes of Mahameru, the sacred mountain.
