Flying VFR to Qualicum Beach (CYNJ to CAT4) + ATC Audio

We flew out to Qualicum Beach to have lunch with some nice ocean side views. Qualicum Beach is a quaint and unique coastal town located on the Vancouver Island of BC. It offers natural recreation, an enjoyable and relaxed lifestyle, and a temperate climate. Walk along sandy beaches, or enjoy canoeing, hiking, swimming, fishing, and the beautiful natural attractions that Qualicum Beach has to offer. Weather was perfect for a VFR flight, although we had to dodge a marine layer that was stationary, over the Georgia straight, near Gibson. Route: Langley Airport, Horseshoe Bay, Sechelt then Qualicum Beach. Distance: 85 nm Average Cruising Altitude: 2000 Ft. Average Speed: 100 kts Weather: VFR all the way.
