Skyrim SE - Hrothgar's Way (oldrim dungeon mod) part 1 of 2 (incomplete play)
Hrothgar's Way: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods... Found the entrance, a manhole beside the Whiteriver near the bridge outside of Whiterun that leads across to Whiteriver Watch, just across the road from the meadery, concealed by some bushes. But, it was locked. Problem, I have no clue where the key is, or who has it if not placed at a location, turns out the courier was supposed to get this quest going, but I've had the courier visit me quite often, usually after my followers die and I get an inheritance and a lot of gold, and I have gotten other dungeon quests from him, but not this one. I wondered if there was a level requirement that I wasn't knowing about. But I went to Riverwood where there was this Lord Aegnor, a brownfaced fellow because he had custom details in the esp but no facegen mesh and texture to go with it, and he had nothing to say, all I could do is hire him through the Multiple Followers Framework, that is all the option that I had, otherwise there was no communicating with this man. And this after I started the quest with the console which didn't do a darn thing from what I could figure. So, nothing happening with that I went back to that manhole and unlocked it with the console as the quest was broken, the NPC wasn't for talking. Inside there was a long narrow passage that would go from that location outside of the Honeybrew Meadery all the way to Ivarstead, and in the middle a way to go deeper into the earth, fighting deadlier spiders than those from the vanilla game, as well as the darkness itself. Sure, there were spots that were lit up, but beyond that I couldn't see @#$%, well, until I got up close to the cavern walls. Bad enough I recently played another dungeon recently that had a lot of darkness that put a strain on my eyes. I get really tired of all of the overly dark mods, once upon a time I had thought, it's not realistic that all these dungeons and caves are so well lit, well I took that back when I tried out a mod that removed all of the lights from them and it was good immersion for a little bit but soon found my eyes hurting from it and it was just stressful to play and not be able to see enough ahead and around me, so I dropped that and always when playing a dungeon that does that I am like, oh boy, not one of these, yet still give it a try and always find it detracts from what could have been a better gaming experience. I'm not going to get anywhere in this one, I unlock another door with the console, pull a lever, oh, did find a key finally, wow-wee, and roamed around in the dark until I couldn't take it anymore. Thought I did take a short break and came back to it for another 11 minutes and something, I'll post that video too cause why not.
