Peckforton Light Railway - A 3D printed diesel joins the fleet
After buying a cheap 3D printer (a CTC DIY A8 kit) for 80 GBP to use in a couple of small projects I decided to see if it was capable of producing something a bit more ambitious. The parts for the diesel loco were downloaded from Thingiverse.com, plus a few extra detailing parts, and printed out - twice! A motor and some wheels were bought from IP Engineering, brass bushes from G-Bits, li-ion cells from Ecolux and a Deltang Receiver from RC Trains. This video shows the outcome.
