Tube Stories: 2 years anniversary - EP19
My light-painting tubes: https://lightpainting.store My light-painting software: https://xangleapps.com/lightpainting "It all started on this day in 2015 in San Francisco. In the morning, we found this random tube at a plastic store, and on the same night, we went to the beach with Bruce Getty and Miss Lexy. We shot only for five minutes as it was super cold, but what we created was a game changer for Kim and I. We were quite excited about this and we decided to go back to the same store to get colored tubes. And on the same night, we found out that orange color would be a nice fit. Since then, we’ve made thousands of pictures with tubes, performed on 4 continents, built a community of 14000 people but most of all, we made a lot of new friends." Time flies quickly! We've been doing tube light-painting for over two years now, and to celebrate this event, we organized a quick last-minute meetup at Central Park in New York City. We had no idea if 15 or 50 people would come. In the end, over a hundred people showed up and we had a blast. This video shows what happened that night. Thanks Efren ( / theefrenherrera ) for the additional footage and Louis ( / grimace_586 ) for the support with the organization. Thanks also to all of you beautiful people who joined us on that night but also on all of the tube stories. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more. --- About Eric Paré (Instagram: @ericparephoto) Eric Paré is an artist-entrepreneur.
